Questions About Visit Notes

Does the client have to agree?

Yes. The app shows a consent line before recording starts, and the care manager confirms the client or their representative has agreed. Consent rules differ by state, so check yours.

Can everyone see that it is recording?

A red banner stays at the top of the screen the whole time. Pause, resume, or discard the recording at any point.

Can I just type the note?

Yes. Write the note yourself and Navigate still offers follow-ups from what you wrote.

Does the draft go straight to the chart?

No. Edit it, regenerate a section, or throw it away. It reaches the chart only when you mark it reviewed.
